Nicolas joined Tendance Finance in 2014 as a quant developer and is now co-head of trading and IT.
After leaving in 2017 to pursue personal projects, Nicolas returned beginning of 2020 to focus on the research and development of algorithmic trading strategies. He previously developed quantitative indices for Exane in the structuring team.
Nicolas graduated from ENSEIRB-MATMECA with a major in Financial Risk from the University of Bordeaux. He speaks French and English.

Manuel is in charge of research. He conceives the investment strategies and oversees their implementation into the proprietary trading programme.
Manuel has more than 30 years of experience in the financial markets, predominantly in the CTA Industry. He co-started EPSILON, the very first Hedge Fund in France. He served as CEO of Man Fidex, a joint venture with Man Financial Group in London. He founded Tendance Finance in 2011.
Manuel graduated from HEC and Sciences Po Paris, and holds a Ph.D in History from Paris-Sorbonne University. He speaks French, English and Spanish.

Doguscan started his career in Turkey at Türkiye İş Bankasi as a FX Trader. He moved to France to join the investment banking desks of BNP Paribas and then Société Générale as a Trader Assistant / Risk Manager.
Doguscan graduated as a financial engineer from ESILV (Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci). He speaks French, English and Turkish.

Laurence joined Tendance Finance in 2012 to co-head the research, care for the technology watch, test the investment strategies and their implementation into the trading programme.
Laurence has more than 30 years of investment experience. In particular, she worked for 22 years at SCOR as a senior Equity portfolio manager (proprietary assets) and for 4 years as a fund selector at FIDEAS Capital.
Laurence graduated from HEC and the CBOE Trading Institute. She speaks French and English.

Virginie has more than 15 years of experience in Law and Wealth Management. Based in London, she worked for Banque Internationale de Luxembourg and DEXIA as a financial advisor. She then moved to Paris to join a Multi Family Office.
Virginie holds a Master of Laws and a Master of Wealth management from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University. Virginie speaks French and English.
